The Cave Dog Bed features a minimalist design specially tailored for puppies who like to seek a sense of security and privacy under a blanket, duvet, or in hiding places resembling a den.

Premium fabric with easy maintenance

The identifying feature of our brand has become our premium velvet fabric. Our velvet has a dense pile that doesn’t allow even the fur of a wire-haired dog to stick in, and as a result, it doesn’t stay stuck like on other surfaces. Cleaning and ease of maintenance are the first things our customers mention in feedback.

We can only confirm this: you can vacuum all the dog hair in a few minutes. If necessary, you can strip off the entire cover and throw it in the washing machine. You can repeat this for years, and the fabric still looks like brand new.

We intentionally chose velvet made of polyester, as, in addition to easy maintenance, it is generally considered a hypoallergenic material.

The Magic of Velvet

True velvet is known for its extraordinary softness, ensuring a comfortable rest for your dog.

Besides its softness to the touch, it also offers a visual experience. Each fiber dances in the light, creating a play of shadows and always presenting a slightly different face.

Velvet never goes out of fashion. Centuries ago, it became a symbol of elegance and not surprisingly, it remains among the most popular choices in interior design today. It is one of the most versatile fabrics, as it can be beautifully utilized in traditional styles, but also works well in Art Deco, Glam, Boho, and even modern design.

Two Variants of Duvet

Choose a Duvet with Sheep Wool or without

We want our product to suit your needs as much as possible. If you have a dog that gets cold easily, or you know that the Cave Dog Bed should also have a warming function, choose the variant with Lavalan sheep wool. If your main concern is to provide a hiding place for your dog, the variant without filling will suffice.

Lavalan® is a German brand that manufactures products purely from European sheep wool, with the entire supply chain being monitored and certified by EGOTRACE. In our products, we use the Lavalan Sport range, which is a combination of 85% sheep wool fibers and 15% cornstarch fiber. Lavalan® sheep wool is also widely used in outdoor and functional clothing by world brands such as Fjällräven, Alpina, and Helly Hansen. It requires a bit more careful maintenance – that is, washing on the wool program with a detergent designed for wool.

Even Filling

The Filling Always Stays in Place

We divided the pillow into three parts with internal walls, into which the filling is evenly distributed. As a result, it will not shift under the weight of your dog, and the pillow will maintain its shape in the long term.

The pillow filling is hollow fiber made from 100% recycled polyester. In simpler terms, it is the same filling used, for example, in your couch cushion, or in almost all toys for puppies and children.

Replace or Top-up the Filling Yourself

Sustainability for us is always about the product’s longevity. We are not among those brands that want to sell you a new bed over and over again.

Therefore, there is a zipper on the longer side of the pillow, which allows you to access the internal filling. We fill the pillow quite densely to maintain its shape in the long term, but if you feel that it would benefit from a little more filling or a complete replacement, you can purchase additional filling from us or anywhere you prefer.

Care and Maintenance

OUTER COVER:
To remove pet hair from the cover, it is best to wet a cloth and gather all hairs in one direction, ideally in the direction the fabric lies. Alternatively, the hair can also be easily vacuumed.

Most stains can be removed by gently wiping the soiled area several times with a damp cloth without pressing. In case of stronger stains, you may repeat this process several times. The trick is to apply enough moisture to the soiled area, so do not be afraid to use plenty of water with the cloth.

The outer cover can be machine washed at 30 degrees Celsius. The manufacturer recommends washing on a gentle cycle. If you have the sheep wool variant, wash on the wool program with low spin speed. The wool manufacturer also recommends using a detergent specifically designed for sheep wool.

CUSHION
The cushion filling can be easily replaced thanks to the zipper on the edge, if necessary. The cushion is not suitable for machine washing.
